Wynwood has a new dining option where art lovers can refuel. Following several years at Wish in South Beach, chef Rocco Carulli opened R House a tad north of neighborhood landmark Wynwood Walls. The roomy restaurant boasts several seating arrangements from intimate banquettes to high-top tables to an enormous back terrace just begging for a fire pit. White Porch Gallery’s art hangs on movable partitions that can be reconfigured for events and exhibits at his hybrid concept. A spicy pineapple margarita pairs well with duck confit spring rolls and tuna tartare whose rosy pink hue jumps out atop its avocado base. Brazilian seafood stew is authentically made with dende oil, and vegetarians can order sweet pea-based falafel with chunks of feta and Greek olives. Barbecue brunch launches soon.
